LAUREL BURCH KITS BY MILL HILL
Has anyone tried these kits? All the other kits have been trashed for one reason or another, how do these "measure up"?

They come with a pretty color of fabric, in choice of linen or aida. They are small enough to be fairly quick...My question is quality/quantity of fabric and floss.

I have used their floss for ornaments with paper....plenty of floss and beads. I really dislike that brown paper for Christmas....from now on I will replace with other colors. Wasn't impressed with floss, but the beads were OK.

Anybody? I know they aren't sold here...yet...but thought the diligent shoppers may know of them. :)

These kits are lovely. The linen is nice, (haven't seen the Aida) and the floss and beads are adequate for the picture. We've been selling lots at work, haven't heard anything negative.

Thanks, MissKitty!

Sold! Putting in my order for one, maybe two! :) I'm such a sucker for Laurel Burch anything....another artist taken too young.

MissKitty, Thanks for your reply! One of my grand daughters is a teen ager and loves these designs. She especially likes the Canine Family Tote. I don't know....she might twist my arm!!

My LNS just got these in on Monday. One friend bought one of each pattern! Ouch! They're more expensive than the paper kits, but the cloth has very rich colors. Haven't bought or tried any yet. Oh, and the color numbers in the Mill Hill kits are in DMC! I'll see my friend later today and ask if she's done any of these and if she's doing on the linen or aida... she might have bought an aida kit for her granddaughter, who's 11 and quite good!

Update... she never showed today, so I'll have to wait til Tuesday to speak with her.
