Sizing
I love this pattern but do not want a 21x22 inch piece. I want it at least half that size or smaller. Is this feasible - if so what size fabric should I get? Please advise!

If you did this on 32 count fabric over one thread (it is usually done over 2 threads...look on yiutu b e regarding cross stitch over two) then it would be 9.375" by 9.625".
Using that tiny of a count fabric means good eyesight and/or a magnifier. This would be on linen, not b an even weave fabric like aida.
18 count aida would be 16.66" by 17.11".
You can figure out this by dividing the Stitch count by the fabric count, or as I remember it, S/F (for me San Francisco helps me remember Stitch over Fabric). So, it would be:
300÷32=9.375 (9 and 1/2) by
308÷32=9.625 (9 and 3/4).
you need 3 inches added to EACH side for framing m so n your fabric cut for 32 count linen b would be 15.5 in. by 15.75 inches.
For the 18 count, you'd need 23 in. by 24in. rounded off.
Good luck! Check for other sizes of counts to get it sized. Free calculator on Google or fabric calculator on cyberstitcher.com

I've had my eye on this kitty, too. Have you checked to see if they have a "mini"? I think I saw one...somewhere. Maybe here.... They are coming out with more and more of them for folk who don't want to work the larger.....they have fewer stitches, color changes, fewer colors, etc. I think it's a fabulous idea! I don't want every project to take a year or more! And fractals just grab my eyes! Now they have a mini STARRY NIGHT! Won't be the same as mine, but it still brought me up short. :)

Wasn't this cat, but Artecy does have a couple of cats under "mini animals".

Saw a picture of the pattern, "Halloweenies". Cute Dachunds for Halloween....but I couldn't remember who was looking for Dachund patterns!

Hi karenbeth1904,

This is our design. With many of our designs we can convert them to a mini size as well. We would be able to make a mini version of this design to add to this website if you like. It would be a cheaper pattern too at $7.95US.

I can make it at 150 x 150 stitches which would be 11" x 11" if you stitch on 14 count, or 100 x 100 which is 7.5" x 7.5". Both sizes will look ok, the 150 x 150 size does have more detail though. We cannot go any smaller than 100 x 100 it will lose too much detail unfortunately.

Let me know if you want for us to go ahead and design it and what size you would like for us to aim for. We would work on it next week and it will be added to this website in a couple of weeks for you.

Please let me know if you have any queries.

Thanks and Best wishes

I would be so very happy if you would convert the pattern to the 11" x11" (150x150 stitch) size. I adore this pattern as it so resembles my beloved Roscoe! Your offer to do this is unexpected and truly appreciated. Others have commented on your impressive customer service and I must agree whole-heartedly! If is not too much to ask, could you email me when it is ready online so I may order it right away? Again, thank you so much!!

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments, we really appreciate it. No problem Karen. Everything Cross Stitch adds new patterns each Monday so if we work on it next week it should be on this website from the 18th of May. I will post a message here when it is online to purchase for you.

Thanks and Best Wishes

Wow. Just. Wow.

Thanks, Artecy! I, also, will be looking for this pattern!

Did you ever think an idea would be that easy to come to fruition? I am blown away! And that takes tornado-type winds!!!!! :)
