Beautiful....I would love to do a pattern like this...I am going to put it on my wish list then leave my husband instructions on how to access ECS website so maybe for my birthday I will get a surprise...of course I will have to "help" him remember when my birthday is LOL.....

I have the same problem with my DH, including our marriage anniversary which we both forget..

Bermuda, it makes life so much easier, doesn't it? DH has always been a lousy gift buyer, so he would give me money in a card and I'd do the same for him because he never knew what he wanted. This went on for a few years and got downgraded to cards. Then he would ask me what I wanted and to buy it if we had the money (I manage the finances). I did that anyway. And now we don't even acknowledge special occasions. I dread holidays because I always get stuff I don't need or want. I have no space left to put anything. I treasure the time my loved ones spend with me or a few photos, etc. That's so much more important.
Just out of the clear blue today, my Olivia told me that "I am the best"! That's better than any gift.
I hope that your DH remembers this time around. LOL You are on dangerous territory here, once the fabric has been cut it's yours!

Texas,
The die has been cast...my DH and myself sound like we are going through the same motions that your DH and you go through....
Our grown children are comforted with the realization that by me having given them my favorite cross stitch websites, which ECS is one, all they have to do is buy me a cross stitch pattern out of my "wish lists" for any birthday or holiday.

I heard that you are getting an over-abundance of rain down there in Texas, yes??
(Read my message on the chat titled, "And the weather is...." and you'll get the picture where I'm at.
Showing no disrespect or disloyalty toward ECS, but did you see the "fractuals" on HAED? Check it out..

I'm a bit concerned for Momcat since I thought she had more rain coming to her area, the on-again, off-again evacuation can be quite wearing on the stress levels....
