how to finish
I am working on this product right now and love it!! I was originally thinking of framing this but interested in other ideas for a piece this big. Any thoughts??

Maybe a throw pillow? I've seen people turn cross stitch projects into pillows. My sister did this with a frog one she was working on.

You could make a wall hanging.
Google 'how do I create a hanging cross stitch'

That turtle is on my "maybe" someday list. I wouldn't frame it because of the expense and lack of any more wall space. I like the idea of a large throw pillow. Just be sure that everyone knows the pillow is for looking at not sleeping on.

Once caught my brother-in-law laying on my couch with his greasy head on my newly finished cross-stitched pillow. NOT HAPPY

This is such a fun stitch! I just finished this for my sister-in-law. I am going to get it framed for her. I'll post a picture of the finished stitch (unframed) later tonight if you would like to see it?

I agree with "zzstarzz21", it would make a wonderful large throw pillow considering the size of it. I have a large pillow with a smiliar color combo design, but it's a seahorse (I bought the pillow) and fits into the "coastal" look....
I ALSO agree that it should be made for looking, not for actually using it as a pillow...

I really like this and keep coming back to the pattern to think about it. Does it take a long time? Artecy patterns seem to have a lot of stitches. What other colors do you think I could use? I'm thinking of something hand dyed from Picture This Plus.

To do justice to this beautiful piece, I think you should frame it. If you don't, maybe you could make it the front of a quilted handbag? You could even put some beads on it? Or how about buttons shaped like fish or starfish?

It is a nice pattern for a wall hanging, cushion or even a bag.

SIMON -- I really like this piece. Yes, it is a large piece, but the background looks blank so that would save a lot of stitches. I think it would be great in just one variegated floss stitched on a soft colored fabric.

Keep on stitching
