I recently acquired a box lot of cross stitch fabric, floss and a few unfinished pieces of cross stitch in a local auction. Many, many years ago I owned a cross stitch and framing shop. Now that I'm retired, I would like to get back to my favorite needlework. I have located charts of two of the unfinished pieces, but am unsuccessful in finding out the designer or name of the third unfinished piece. It looks similar to a Paula Vaughn, but I don't think it is. The predominant colors are blue and pink. Amazingly, I found a finished piece on ebay, #271944167523. I emailed the owner and she graciously responded, but she was unable to determine the origin of the design also. The best way to describe it is to this-on the blue shelf from left to right are the following items: a bell, a goose sitting on a doily, a basket of pink and blue flowers, a hat with pink flowers and a ribbon, and two boxes sitting partly behind the hat. One is blue and white stripe with a pink bow and the other is white with pink flowers. Hanging on the wall behind the shelf is a quilt and to the left of the quilt is a wreath of blue and pink flowers. Quilted hearts are hanging from a peg on the shelf. There is a "wall paper border" across the top of the piece consisting of pink flowers between two tan stripes. If anyone knows this piece, would you please let me know the name of it or the designer. Or if you have the chart and would be willing to sell it, I would like to buy it. Thank you.
