Speclling
Please note that "Pittsburgh" is spelled incorrectly on your pattern - it should be PittsburgH, with an H, NOT Pittsburg....if you can correct this, I would love to order the pattern.
Thank you.

Hello,

We can send an email to the designer, Sue Hillis, to let her know about this error. Thank you for letting us know.

Sue Hillis maps have been around for a long time. I'm surprised that error has not been corrected. It looks like it should be an easy fix for you, but that isn't the point.

But then, look at the title of your post. Ironic, eh?

It's a case of the right hand not watching what the left-hand fingers are doing on the keyboard... the old "left finger slip" routine...have it myselff once in a while....

Easy enough to add an H. Several already on there. Is Wilkes-Barre the town that ... oh, no, that was Mauck-Chunk that became Jim Thorpe. Oh, don't correct me on these town names. I'm just guessing (Spent a lot of Summers around Allentown)

We need to be nicer to new posters. We don't want anyone having a bad impression of Everything CrossStitch, do we?

SJH -- This is really a very nice group of men and women who love Cross Stitch. Sometimes we might get a little sill or sarcastic. It's all fun. Stick around and get to know us. One thing this whole group agrees on is that ECS has an excellent customer service record.

FYI -- In the future, if you need information regarding a particular product you can contact Customer Service directly.

Sjh43 says she'll order the pattern, IF Sue Hollis adds the missing H. Don't see why I'm told off for that kind of ultimatum. Hate threats. That set me off -- that & complaining about a spelling error, while mispelling the subject.

Dear Everything Cross Stitch,
While I have enjoyed purchasing many products from your site over the years, I'm sorry to say that, after being treated so rudely by one of your designers for simply pointing out a spelling error, I most likely will discontinue to use your sight any longer. Let me say this: If one said designer cannot take constructive criticism, then one said designer has much deeper problems than spelling. Customer service is something I strongly believe is a company's strongest link and, unfortunately, instead of being treated with concern, I was treated with sarcasm and ridicule. Shame on this one designer. Oh, BTW: if you want to be a successful cross stitch pattern designer, don't make spelling errors....and, it is not the same as an error in the subject line of an email, it is a professional product for sale.....get it? People pay for your product, not the subject line if an email.

Let's get this straight sjh43. You are not at Customer service or anything ECS official. You are writting to a Chit Chat Room where other stitchers offer opinions & give advice. Take advice from JL, who's 68 and been stitching 40+ years. It's not nice to threaten designers or good supply stores. We have few of either.

LOL. Irony on the one hand, no sense of humor on the other...just a typical day in the neighborhood!!! :)

Sjh, we all misspell, misstep, misunderstand...hope you give yourself another chance...we'll be here. :)
BUT EXS is not responsible for our sense of humor...or anybody's spelling. :)
