25 count Evenweave or 25 count Aida over 1???????
This beautiful pattern says to use 25 count Evenweave over 1. When I enter this into the fabric calculator it ALWAYS seems to default to Aida 25 count over 2 but this needs to be over 1`. How can I find out what size fabric to get and why does it not ever state"over 1"

Hello,

ALL Heaven and Earth designs are stitched on 25ct. evenweave fabric over 1. Our system is set up to default to "over 2" when it hits a certain fabric count. Our IT guy is still trying to figure out a way to fix this in our system without having to redo the entire thing. I apologize for the inconvenience for this. I like using this fabric calculator for my larger projects because I have found it gives a lot of detail, which I like: https://yarntree.com/java/xstitchcal.htm. I am sure other stitchers many know of some other calculators that use frequently that they can tell you about?

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience for this but we are working on a solution for the Heaven and Earth Designs "over 1" issue. I am not sure when it will be resolved though?! Thank you.

Hi,

If you go to Crossstitch.com website and to their calculator you will be able to type in 25 count AND
enter "2" in the space provided. It will not default back to one. It also gives you a space to enter the extra number of inches you want for mounting and framing. Once you've entered all the numbers of your project and hit the "calculate" button below and to the left, it will tell you two things. One: the size of the COMPLETED project and 2: The size of the FABRIC you need for your project.

OOPS! I think I confused you in my statement above. If you go to the calculator I mentioned above and put the number ONE where it asks how many stitches your going over (it'll show 1 for Aida) in the box but that's ok. Just insert your fabric number (25 count) and you should be able to see it gives you the size of the finished project and the amount of fabric you need for mounting and framing if you decide to gove "over 1) on this project.,
personally, I add 3 inches each side of fabrricto give enough room tor mounting and framing.
