This is the 'biggest' project I've ever done. I was really excited to receive my package in the mail and got it started right away. I thought it would be overwhelming because of the size, however I am really enjoying it as it's quite easy actually...all straight "x" stitches, sections of the same color can get done rather quickly (zippin right along :-). The individual colors are stunning on their own, but some colors are highlighted with maybe just one stitch through out a section. It can get a bit tedious threading for one stitch of a color, but you can see how it all plays a relevant part in establishing the detail of this wonderful picture and that's part of the challenge! The castle in the 'sepia' tones are exactly what I was looking for to match my décor. I think it will be beautiful when done, and can't wait to frame it for my wall! So glad I discovered this site, I will be looking at other projects for sure. Cheers!
