Rioli Cross Stitch
Hello friends . It’s Autumn here in Queensland and the days are lovely after a very hot and wet summer. I thought I’d show you my latest work. I have never used a Riolis kit before and this one used wool and acrylic threads, so the piece really looks 3 dimensional. I found it quite a challenge until I got used to the threads and the way they are mounted on the cards. I’ve just put it in a frame today so would appreciate your comments.
New at this
I have never cross stitched before and am very confused. I bought some cross stitch patterns on line but not sure what type of stitch to use for the symbol or if the symbol just indicates color? If the X is the full cross stitch then what is a solid color block? Are the yellow straight lines a straight stitch? And if so are they small stitches or a single long stitch? I have a legend but it is basic and doesn’t answer very many questions. I have attached a photo with multiple symbols. Can some one let me know what stitches they are?

Today is Wednesday …………………………………… Good Morning, MJ 💕
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY
Happy Wednesday everyone. Yesterday was a good gardening day, but today it will be rain. Stitched on "Daisies" and substituted DMC floss for Gentle Arts Sampler Threads except for the DMC white border. I also selected the beads I'm going to use on the border. All in all it was good day. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I’m still not getting my email notifications when I post a new chat. Some days I will get one or two, other days I get none. I have to go to the chat board to see the replies. The check mark is definitely on. Can you help with this? Thanks!

Good Morning
Genesis 39: 1 -5
1 Now Joseph had been taken
down to Egypt, And Potiphar,
an officer of Pharaoh, captain
of the guard, an Egyptian brought him
from the Ishmaelites who had taken
him down there.
2 The Lord was with Joseph, and
he was a successful man; and he
was in the house of his master the
Egyptian.
3 And his master saw that the
Lord was with him and that the
Lord made all he did to prosper in
his hand.
4 So Joseph found favor in his
sight, and served him. Then he made
him overseer of his house, and all
that he had he put under his
authority.
5 So it was, from the time that
he had made him overseer of his house
and all that he had, that the Lord blessed the
Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the
blessing of the Lord was on all that he had
in the house and in the field.
Have a bless day!
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind TUESDAY
Good Tuesday morning everyone. Anyone ever hear of the trend "Duck, Duck Jeep"? Yesterday morning when we left for awhile I small rubber duck was in driver's door handle. We looked it up and it's usually from another Jeep driver who wants to promote driving a Jeep. Who knew? Hopefully the rain stays off a little bit until I get the side garden seeded with perennial wildflowers. And best of all I get to start on the daisy pattern! I will take gregnpat's idea of doing my morning glories and use the border from these patterns. Have a great day everyone!
I just finished this...
My patriotic picture. It's beaded and shellaced. Im working on my house and collecting items to donate. Im also reorganizing my cross stitch room. I have a few metal Anchor floss boxes that are partly filled. One of my cats takes floss out of that cabinet. It's definitely not safe near cats. Thd cabinets need to be moved as well. They're heavy to move. I will be stitching again. I miss it for sure
