It turned out better than expected. I didn’t add the wording. I thought it looked better without.

This is a great cross stitch pattern. It will take more than one skein of some colors. The coloring may be a little off on the female cardinal, but she still looks pretty. This is not a simple nor a quick pattern by any means. It's probably me, but you have to very careful in your counting and stitch placement especially with the branches of the tree. I ended up having to improvise in some places because my count was off. Still all in all it is an absolutely beautiful piece when finished. One further note: if you use DMC Marbled Blue Aida 14 cloth be sure to use it length-wise when beginning the project.

I Just Completed this piece Beautiful. Used Three Mats for framing and a cherry frame. Ony downfall had to use 3 skeins of Black 2 Skeins of 3865 and 3 Skeins of the woodsmoke.

The pattern is great as all Stoney Creek patterns are. I cannot find the Anchor thread that is listed in the pattern.
