How much do you charge for shipping?
Shipping charges depend on the weight of your order, your shipping method, and your location. When you go through the first step of the checkout procedure, you will see all of your options for shipping along with how much each option would cost.
Can I get tracking numbers for my shipments?
This depends on the shipping method you choose. Any first class mail shipping options (US and international) and parcel post do NOT have tracking information available. To get tracking information, you must upgrade your shipping to either one of the Priority Mail options or UPS. When you choose these options, we will send your tracking numbers to you via email when your order is shipped.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept PayPal and Check/Money Order by mail. You can select your payment method during the checkout process.
How can I tell if a design is a leaflet or part of a kit?
The best way to tell is to see what category the product belongs to. When browsing through the categories, the kits all will be under the Kits-Counted or Kits-Stamped category trees. if you find a product by searching, the category containing the product will be shown just under the menu bar at the top, so you can see if it is a kit category.
I get EverythingCrossStitch emails and newsletters, but I can't sign in to make a purchase. Why not?
When you sign up for the Needle Notes newsletter, your email address gets added to our mailing list database, but it doesn't automatically get added to our customer database. When you make your first purchase, you will still need to set up your account and password.
Why do I sometimes see two different transactions on my credit card statement for my Everything Cross Stitch orders?
When you place your order, your credit card is authorized which means that the card is verified. When we are ready to ship your order, we capture the transaction, which means the funds are actually moved from your account into ours. This may look a little confusing, but it helps protect you from being charged before your items are readyto ship!
How soon after I place my order will my products be shipped to me?
This really depends on what products you have ordered. Many of the most common items like floss, cloth, and the more popuplar kits and patterns are in stock and ready to ship within one business day. Other items may be need to be ordered from our distributors and may not be able to ship for 2 business days. Our goal is for every order to ship within 3 business days, with the majority shipping in two or less.
Do you have a printed catalog that you can mail me?
No, we do not offer a printed catalog. Our product selection is constantly increasing due to new patterns being made available from our distributors. We also go to great lengths to remove discontinued products from our web site as soon as we know they are no longer available. If we printed a catalog, it would be out of date before the ink was dry! We prefer to spend as much time and effort as we can to make sure that the web site is as up to date as possible!
Are all of your prices in US dollars?
Yes, all of the prices on our web site are in US currency. If you are in a different country and purchase by credit card, your credit card company will take care of the currency conversion automatically, and the right amount in your local currency will be charged to your account. If you choose to pay by check or money order, you will need to go to your bank and make sure that the check or money order is made out in US funds.
Can I place an order without a credit card?
Absolutely! We accept PayPal and also checks or money orders by mail. If you want to purchase by check or money order, select the appropriate payment method during checkout, and you will see the address to send in your payment.
Do you take orders over the phone?
We can take orders over the phone, but we go through the same account creation process that you would go through yourself over the internet. If you want to phone in your order, we will be happy to help you, but you can do it all from the comfort of your own pc as well!
When I call your telephone number, why do I get some kind of technology company?
The parent company of Everything Cross Stitch is a company named M&R Technologies, which is what you hear when you call us on the phone. We operate several craft web sites, including Everything Plastic Canvas, Everything Latch Hook, Everything Punch Needle, and PatternsOnline.com. When you call us, please don't hang up! Just tell our representative on the phone which web site you are calling about, and they will be able to help you!
