Please, for the idiots out there (yes, me) make more museum replica style vintage kits. Stamped so they can actually be completed, proud of, framed, hung in homes and admired versus the mistaken purchase of a chart. Thinking well if that person or the other can do it so can I. Not so. I gave up on a lovely cross stitch patter only 30 years ago and have not touched it since except cleaning to move the whole lot in its bag to yet another location so I need not stare at my inability. The stamped embroidery I did 35 years ago I hang proudly while that other poor thing just gets moved from pillar to post. Guess maybe, after I am long dust, someone will run across it and maybe finish it or it will land in a garage sale or worse, dumpster. Am I making any sense. The kits out there, let's face it, leave a great deal to be desired. Pillow case edging, table clothes, tea towels, come on gang. I would not more attempt "With A Pleasant Thought" counted cross stitch than cut my ear off.
We need gratification too, frustration leads to wasted cash, project in the trash. Thank you again.
