Providing today's crafter the finest in Cross Stitch Patterns, Kits and Supplies since 2006!

During my visits to different cross stitching websites to look at charts, I couldn’t help laughing at this kitty pattern! It’s the look on the cat’s face that tickles me!
I'm feeling a bit grumpy and am going through some kits I ordered to make sure everything is there and in good order. I have a major pet peeve with the packaging of the Thea kits. I opened this new Thea kit and the floss is folded over at the halfway mark (so the top 1 1/4" inches and the bottom 1 1/4" of floss meet evenly) and is banded with an adhesive tape that is just as sticky or stickier than cellophane tape. Is it me that I feel completely blown away that kits they are charging enormous prices to sell to us should not be packaged to look neat from the outside of the package by destroying, breaking and wrecking the floss fibers when we have to remove this tape that's stickier than cellophane tape, it will never wash away with rinsing, and will always leave/have a sticky residue. I realized I had an old Thea kit in my stash ordered from somewhere else a long time ago and it's the same thing. This seems like a totally "novice" packaging move to me. Thoughts anyone????
I would love to know which needles most of you use for 14ct. aida cloth. I love the blunt needles because I hate jabbing my fingers. But sometimes the blunted point needle doesn't always get into the holes easily. What do all you guys recommend ? Also, I like to double up on my threads ( no tail) and Tie a knot at the end .... I know this is a no no but it works for me. I just let the knot hang and later, cut it off. Also, I love to have my work framed professionally but it is sooo expensive so I went to U Tube and they showed an ingenious way to frame smaller projects in their hoop frames. Wow and you can always decorate the "screw" top with an ornament or ribbon. Of course, I will continue to have my more memorable pieces framed professionally. It' worth it considering all the work that was put into this. I just love this message board and wish I had found it sooner WOW !!
Is there any kind of club for stitchers like myself in my area ? Scarsdale Ny ? Wow I would love that.
Hello Everyone, I am Troy Riegle with EverythingCrossStitch.com. We are excited to introduce Chit Chat, our new message board. We have been asking folks what they would like to see us add to the site, and a message board was one of the most requested, so here it is! We hope you like it, and enjoy interacting with other crafters from all over the world. We are going to announce it in our September newsletter, but I wanted to go ahead and turn it on and see what you all think. So, I would love to hear your feedback. If you have any trouble, or would like to share ideas of ways to improve it, I would LOVE to hear from you. Just post it here, or create a new chit chat topic. The forum is open to anyone. Feel free to share anything that’s on your mind. We hope you enjoy this new feature. Sincerely, Troy Riegle EverythingCrossStitch.com
Is the project size the size of the fabric or the finished picture?

After Santa I’m going to do two pictures in one. River walk in Colorado
I thought this colorful design also came in a mini size and would certainly consider getting it if I could find it, but do not see it in the pages that come up when I search.
