This pattern was stitched on 32 homespum linen and the stitch count are 60 h X 61 w. or 1.90 X 1.91 inches Enjoy

Wouldn't doing it over one stitch make it a bit small for a child's room? Why not make it over two stitches?

MY OPINION -- It can be stitched on 32ct over 2 or 16 ct over 1 which would make the finished stitched area about 3.75 x 3.75
OR -- USE 14 CT AND THE FINISHED SIZE WOULD BE 4.28 X 4.28.
Don't forget to add an extra six inches in each direction to allow room for framing.
