Pattern
Please explain exactly what is a pattern. Is it printed on fabric? Is it a paper drawing?

Hello,

It's a counted cross stitch pattern. It's a paper chart with black and white symbols and there is a color key as well as instructions for the design. The fabric and the floss for the design are to be purchased separately but they are all listed below the picture of the design so you can see what floss and fabric the design uses. You can either purchase just the pattern itself, or you can purchase the pattern along with the all of the materials needed. We do also have stamped items available on our website if that is what you are looking for. Just click on the link to your left (under the Search box) that says: Stamped Projects and you will be taken to the area of our website that has the stamped products. Hope this information helps. Thank you.

Kristi just gave you a very good description of the differences in cross stitching projects. If you are a beginner stitcher this pattern is not for you until you have done some easier projects. Mystic Stitch is one of my very favorite pattern companies, but they are not for beginners. Their patterns are many pages long. If you are a beginner I would start with one of the beginner kits sold here at ECS and work my way up to this beautiful picture. They are listed on the link on the left under cross stitch kits.
