The white part is stitched, the borders are fabric.

Hello Jane,

They just used that pillow/fabric for the model of their design. The leaflet states the following: "Model stitched on your choice of fabric using DMC or Anchor floss. Stitch count 83x83. Pillow finishing instructions included" so they took the design and put it on their own pillow. The design is just the dragonfly and the four flower accents. I went to the Tiny Modernists website and they actually sell the fabric they used to make the pillow. Here is the link for it, if you would like to check it out:
