Is this kit stamped or a count, I never did a count and do not know how to do it

Thanks Kathleen

kay...this is a kit which is counted...not stamped. It comes with fabric, floss and directions to follow for stitching. If you look at the pull down menu to our left...you will see a series of "stamped" projects. It does say it is for a beginner and looks easy. I think you could do it, especially because you use the frame as a hoop and then a frame when you finish! (I do not work for ECS...I am a Stitcher!)

I agree, this would be a good kit to introduce yourself to counting!

Hi Kathleen, I stitched this piece last year. It was my first time doing a counted cross stitch. It was very easy. I highly recommend starting with something small like this piece. By the way, I did not use the oval plastic frame. I purchased a small square frame and it looks really nice. You can do it!!

I agree with the other stitchers. This is a nice beginner's project. There are usually directions on the package insert. You could go to You Tube to see a how-to video. Check your local needlework shops. Sometimes classes are offered and if it is a privately owned shop, the staff might help you, too. Good luck! It is a wonderful hobby, a great way to use time, and you'll create heirlooms that people will treasure.

I have stitched this cross for my Easter cards. I bought a box of plain open window greeting cards.
