Ordering
When I have ordered on-line before, the pattern was able to be printed out at the time of payment. Is there any reason you do not do this for your patterns? I was hoping to get started right away. How long does it take to receive the pattern?

I don't know about other ECS customers but I have always gotten my orders within a week after I ordered them. I myself prefer to have the hard copy mailed to me and not download it off of the internet. That is just my preference.

Hello,

I'm sorry but this website does not offer patterns or designs in a downloadable format. You must have purchased from a different website before because we have never offered our patterns as downloads. Everything ordered gets shipped out to you. Once orders are placed, they can anywhere from 1-4 business days to go out, depending on what is included in the order. Floss and patterns are quicker while fabric can take extra days since we order it from the manufacturer. Your shipping option chosen at checkout will determine how quickly your order gets to you. US First Class Mail can take anywhere between 7-10 business to reach you, while Priority Mail can take 2-5 business days. UPS is another option but that goes by state to determine how fast it reaches you. Again, these times are all estimates from the United States Postal Service so you may receive your order quicker than the 7-10 business day mark. I hope this helps answer your questions. There is a FAQ section listed under the Customer Service heading at the top of the page if you would like to check that out as well :) Thank you.

There is a sister site of this website where all patterns are downloadable. Just go to pattrrnsonline.com

Some of my favorite deigms are only available as hard copies. It depends on what each designer chooses to have licensed, either as hsrd copies (paper), downloads or both. Since copyright laws apply, many feel that hard copies prevent folks from distributing copies and avoiding payment. There are so many people who think that this behavior is okay, but most of the stitchers in this group heavily support copyright. Without it, the designers miight quit.
