Dinosaurs
I would like to make this a birth announcement for my grand nephew. Instead of cross stitching just his first name as done on the sample, I want to do his entire name, date of birth,....maybe pounds & inches. Do you think I can fit it in the space where "Zackary" is?
Thanks.?

U would probably fit it if u do it smaller.

That's what I thought as well. I will have to find my cross-stitch book of the alphabet and come up with something. He has already been born and the mom and sister like the dinosaur theme.

Thanks for your quick response.

I would definitely include all the vital statistics! LOL

You could use a small alphabet as sumer suggested or you could add it to the bottom. Maybe in three lines, full name, date, birth weight, etc and make the border larger but that would leave an empty space at the top. Perhaps you could fill that in with greener or something. It's a very nice pattern.
I have modified many birth samplers, I have seven grandkids.

Okay, I looked at it again, enlarged. I would use smaller letters and put the info at the top. There is plenty of space.

Post a pic when it's finished, please! I love seeing completed projects. It motivates me. :)

I would do it smaller across top...see example below.

Jane Doe

3-14-16 6 lbs. 5 oz.
18 inches

Maybe something like this...just idea because of the small space. Happy stitching!
