Can it be done on aida 18 fabric?
This is such a lovely pattern! Is it possible to do it on aida 18 fabric (my favorite fabric) successfully? I noticed that it doesn't require beads or specialty threads (thank goodness!). Are there a lot of special stitches that would make it prohibitive on that type of material? Please let me know!

Hi,
First of all, I am NOT an employee of Everything Cross Stitch but one of the stitchers that visits their chat board and I saw your question!

Sure! You can use 18-count aida to make this project! This pattern's stitch count is: 262 wide x 372 high. If you use 18-count aida fabric and stitch OVER ONE,this completed cross stitch portion of the pattern will be: 14 1/2 inches wide by 20 3/4 inches high. If you add 3 inches of extra fabric to EACH side of your 18-count fabric (the 3 inches each side is added for mounting and framing the final project) you will need a piece of 18-count fabric that is: 21 inches wide x 27 inches high.
Hope this helps! Lovely lady! I believe there are a series of these ladies that can be cross stitched. :)

Hello,

You can certainty do this design on an 18ct. fabric. Bermuda posted what the size would be using a 18ct, fabric for you :) you can always use the Fabric Calculator we have available on our website as well in order to get your fabric size and design sizing dimensions. This design uses full stitches as well :)
