14 ct Aida is suggested which would make your project size 11.6" x 15.0"

I wanted to know what color fabric was used for My Raven.

I think you will find the fabric at "Stitches and Spice". Look under " Spice Blends" fabric on their website.Not sure which colour it is; they have loads of variegated! Hope this helps

Just as a suggestion, I would not use white fabric. Overall, the picture seems to be in darker shades of beige, brown and gold. If any fabric shows through the stitching, white would stand out more. I would use an ivory or even a little darker. Just don't get too dark or it can be more difficult to see the holes in the fabric. Should be a cool project to do!

thanks for the help. I've done many large projects, but this looked like a marbled fabric to me. Will use a darker fabric from my stash , and a lot of patience.
