Has anyone stitched this?
This looks like a good pattern to embellish with beads or metallics, and change up colors to have some fun. Our house is rather modern in decor, but we go traditional with Christmas decorations.

I'd love to hear any comments or suggestions!

Good Morning! Actually, I saw this design at a framer's waiting to be picked up. It was worked on an "Opalescent" White Linen. That is an unusual fabric. If you have never seen it...it has a very subtle soft "sheen". I have some in my stash!! The maker left more room around the edges than is shown in this picture and picked a very nice frame for it. It is really neat. Yes...you could definitely add some other things to give it more "pizazz".

That would be really cute. Think about getting some tiny buttons to sew on also -- especially at the top. No rule that says you must stitch a pattern exactly as the designer suggests. Make sure that you post a picture when you are finished. . I am sure that Tereena at Artecy would love to see a picture of your creative interpretation.

Thank you, all for the great ideas. I'm a bit conservative with my stitching, though I almost always tweak colors and threads. I'm going to follow my "three day rule," which is about waiting to purchase a chart until it keeps calling me.

Hope to chat with all of you again soon. And it will be fun to share photos, too.
