Smalled design of edinburgh castle
I have ben looking for a pattern of Scottish castles but require a size roundabout 6"x8" finished. Is this possible. I am going to incorporate all finished holiday cross stitch patterns into a quilt and there want them all similar size

I am no expert however if you do it on a high count fabric one over one it will come out a lot smaller. The higher the count the smaller the finish . I think others will know more than me
Good luck

HELLO -- Mary is correct. The higher the count of the fabric the small the design will be.

I AM NOT AN EMPLOYEE OF ECS -- THIS IS MY OPINION

This is a very large pattern. You could just pick out the main focus of what you want and eliminate the mountains and the sky.

A good idea is to contact Tereena at Artecy.com. She MIGHT be able to assist you in cropping the pattern into a size that will work for you.

Teeena often comments on this page. I have had many personal "e-converstions" She is very helpful.

Hi Langtrym,

This is our design. Thanks Nancye, appreciate it.

You can either stitch a cropped section on a higher count. Or stitch a very small section on 14 count.

If you are wanting more or the Castle I can try to make a mini version, just of a cropped area, but it will lose alot of detail at this size.

If you would like for me to show you how it would look cropped or as a mini, you can email me at artecy@artecy.com and just let me know what fabric count you will be stitching on and I can email some pics to you for examples.

Please let me know if you have any further queries.

Thanks and Best Wishes

Thank you terenna.

My very crafty daughter has come up with another idea so will try that first, and also a friend told me today of a pattern made from a picture so will look into that.

However very many thanks for your reply and if I require any more help I'll be in touch.
