flesh tone
the colors that make up the flesh tone on this peice are dmc#758,3779,and754 but they seem more orange to me

Trust this designer. Of course, there are no cross stitch police, so you can always choose to do what you prefer.

HELLO. I am also not an employee of this company. Have you already started stitching or are you looking at the skeins of floss? I just checked my stash. I only have two of the colors you need. Once you pull out one or two threads and start stitching the shading should look more natural to you.

I recently finished a piece that had I think 5 kids in it. Su and Nancye are giving you great advice. It will look great once you fill in the surrounding colors. I, too, thought that the colors were a little orangey but liked the end result. You could always blend colors. But I recommend that you try it on a little practice piece before you make major changes.
It is an adorable motif.
