It's full cross stitches only per the description which would be on the easier side. What would add difficulty is the many shades of the same color...you would need good lighting. Also, it is a large picture. Some beginners would not like that.

I would say that this would be an extremely difficult piece to stitch. Way too many shades of blues for me. If you decide to go ahead with this project I have a couple of hints. First, make copies of the pattern and put the original in a safe place. Grid your fabric in blocks of ten to match the grid of the pattern. Stitch one block at a time. It is okay if you have a couple of stitches of the same color that go over the block. As you stitch use a marker to keep track of where you have stitched.

Don't stitch when you are tired. If you start getting frustrated put the project away for a day or two. It will save time if you don't have to rip out mistakes

It all depends on your level of experience, eyesight, patience, etc. Artecy makes beautiful patterns that are well designed and laid out. So, if you follow Nancye's advice you should be okay. I, personally, do not like to stitch projects that have so many similarly shaded colors. Others love it. The thing to keep in mind is that it is just simple x-stitch and is done one stitch at a time. By that I mean do not let the complexity of the pattern intimidate you. If you like it then go for it.

Artecy recommends 14 count, but you can use what you are most comfortable with. Changing will change the size.
