Yes, you can. Look at the list to the left under the search bar and you'll find "Floss & Thread". Click on that, then choose the company you want (DMC, etc.), click on it. Check the floss you want, when you're ready check out. I hope this helps.

I'm not an ECS employee, just a stitcher who saw your post.

Connie, I don't know about this one. It's a Riolis kit and their stitching medium is made of wool and synthetics. She'd probably have to contact the manufacturer.

Kristi will have the answer on Monday.

You're right, Texas, I didn't think about that. Guess I should think a little bit more before putting my fingers in motion! LOL

How are you doing tonight? Working on anything special?

Connie, these Riolis kits pop up from time to time, after awhile you get to know the patterns. :) This one stuck in my mind because I have a similar vase. I love the flowers but prefer the deep red ones to white.
I'm just procrastinating putting off stuff I don't like to do - paperwork. You know how it is when you get too far behind.
I had my GD several hours today when she goes home I'm wiped out. She's six and she thinks she is the boss. Actually she is.
I'm still working on Celtic Christmas. I am not trying to discourage anybody here but ...... It looked so simple and like it would stitch up quickly. Not so. I shudder to think about doing the border. Many color changes and bead work. Oh, I also have to check out the tutorial on pin stitches. I am a slow stitcher and don't have much time. It does look beautiful - at least to DD. You know how that one goes, one is never satisfied while working on it. Once it's been washed and pressed I'll feel differently, I hope.
Busy day tomorrow. Bus stop, labs at the doctor's (by appt) that means only black coffee, Costco, then bus stop again. DH and I go pretty much everywhere together. He needs to get out more but he is a slow walker........ At Costco he wants to look at everything.
What are you working on?

At present I'm working on a mouse with a dandelion for my sister, she loves mice and collects figurines. I think she needs a cross stitch mouse! I stopped working on "Let's be Brave" because of all the quarter stitches, I'll start on it again next month, I need to have it done by Thanksgiving when we're going to my brother's house. It was to be his birthday present, but I just couldn't work on it any more, I kept making mistakes. I'm sure you know how it is. :D

My week is filled with appointments and I won't get much stitching done. Soon my MIL will be moving from Michigan here to Florida; after she sells her house. Then she'll be living with us until she gets her own home. I'm looking forward to having her, but it'll be a little tight especially with 4 of us living in a three bedroom house. My hubby is not looking forward to having 3 women from 3 different generations all living together. He might sleep in the garage! LOL

Hello Carolyn,

This is a kit manufactured by Riolis so we do not have any replacement supplies for kits since we aren't he manufacturers. If you do find that you need more floss or you weren't given enough in the kit (sometimes that happens), just contact Riolis and they will be able to assist you getting more of what you need for their product. They are in Lithuania but here is the link to their website so you can email them if you need to: http://www.riolis.com/ Hope this information helps :)

Connie, you don't have much time left. Will you have to get it framed?

I think I've seen the mouse and dandelion pattern it's cute. I'm not into mice. :) Had some in the garage at the old house. What a mess.

Yes, I will have to get it framed. I just have a little bit left to do, about half of the title. Then I'll get it framed.

Deb thinks mice are so cute, she even has a stuffed (taxidermy) mouse someone gave to her. I think it's a little gross, but she has it sitting in a little toy car like it's driving and she loves it.

I did the Riolis fox pattern and while it wasn't the easiest kit I've ever done I will say they gave me PLENTY of that wool fiber! I have enough left to almost make another kit and I wasn't exactly following the directions of blending either ;)

Aunt Connie, Did you try the chenille needles for quarter stitches? :) Has anyone? Thought I would get a package of mixed sizes--not familiar with the sizing, but FAQ suggested ensuring needle was large enough to ease thread through fabric...just as usual....I think they might be handy for pin stitches, too, Tex. :)
