Colors
I do not know the gender of the baby. Can a neutral color be used instead of pink or blue?

That is a good idea! You might want to consider looking at other baby cross stitch patterns for other more neutral colors that are used. Combinations of purples, yellows, white, and beiges with blues and pinks interspersed could help keep it neutral. :)

Good idea Bermuda, I guess the feet could be flesh coloured DMC 754.

Hello,

You can use whatever colors you like for this :) But keep in mind that this is a kit made by Janlynn so the floss and stuff that comes with it, can't be switched out prior to purchasing. You will get this kit which will have the floss, chart, needle and frame so if you wanted to use different floss, you would just have to purchase that separately. But you can definitely use any colors that you choose for a design :)

ou could try a variegated floss. DMC has a new line called COLORIS. It uses four different colors as opposed to different shades of the same color. Hard to tell but it looks like #4507 (bougainvillea) has pink, blue, green and purple. It is available on this site. I think that this will be very unique

You could "tweed" the floss for the feet in pink and blue.
