Shipping costs
This product is great. My beef is that I tried to order at another time and the cost of shipping was twice as much as the 2 items I wanted to order....$23 for the items and $45 for shipping.....so I did not order and cannot afford to in the future. I know I'm in Canada but come on!

Shipping rates are usually reasonable on Everything Cross Stitch. Double-check to make sure that you entered your information correctly. That amount does sound high to me.
If you have a question regarding a specific product and the cost of shipping you should contact the Customer Service Department directly. ECS is closed on Saturday and Sunday. If you send an email they will probably respond to you early Monday morning

I just checked -- Assuming you live in the Windsor, Ontario area (the only city I had a postal code available for) shipping would be about $4.00. I think that you checked International Priority Express in error.

Thank you for the info. I will be sure to check the shipping request closely next time I find something I want to order. Hopefully it was my error and not the actual shipping costs.

The old carpenter's adage--measure twice cut once I use when ordering on line--check the form twice before ending the "transaction".
