Veronica and other ladies
Are there other cross-stitchers that are also intrigued by these pictures by Mirabilia? I said I was only going to do two and now I have bought patterns for two more. I find their looks to be fascinating and love all the extras they put in the pictures; beads, etc. I don't plan on doing more than 4 but then, I didn't stop at 2.

Sue...Yes I do love these designs. I recently ordered "Elizabeth" which is Nora Corbett's tribute to Elizabeth Taylor. I will make if for my grand daughter. She saw it and just LOVED the colors!

No, I'm fed up with beading and huge gowns. The four Celtics will never get stitched! Celtic Christmas is enough. I have several mermaid patterns by Mirabilia (long story). Too many beads.

That's just me and I don't want to take away your enjoyment.

No offense taken. I guess after I've done more than one maybe I'll feel the same way. I am trying my hand at whitework and pulled thread and that I've found fascinating. I do want to make Veronica though.

Texas Stitcher, I am surprised! Give yourself time my friend. When I "finally" finished Santa of the Forest, I swore I would never make it again because it was soooooo big and I had "battled" soooooo much with the "famous" DMC 284 Metallic thread. I think once you finish it and take a rest your thoughts will change. I did see the one you are making framed in Cape May. She will be "just spectacular". Take your stress tabs my friend....and don't "burn out" over Christmas!!!

SS, I just came across your post. Just to let you know I have done 7 so far over the last 15 years. I won a first place ribbon at a local rodeo in Texas with one of the first ones I ever completed. Then I won first place and best of show (same rodeo different year) with another one that I did. Both times it was a complete surprise. I still look at the ribbons in awe.

I just finished one for my son and I am working on another one. Plus I just ordered Elizabeth to do for my Aunt. So I will be busy for a while.

So keep going you are not alone. LOL

Thanks Celticcrafter for your reply. I guess doing 4 won't be that many then!
