Fun
There are four of these and they look like a lot of fun. Anyone work one? How big is the piece of Aida?

Edit:. Just saw the frame for these. Even more resolved to make them! A little pricey, though.

The description says the finished project is 5 x 5 inches. I would assume that the fabric provided will be either 7 or 8 inches square to allow enough fabric for framing.

I have done a few Mill Hill kits but they were on perforated paper. I also bought the frames because it is hard to find square frames. Did enjoy doing them. Working with the beads is just different than regular cross stitch and a bit of a change

The description does say that the fabric is 18ct aida. Would not have any idea what to do if you decided to use perforated paper.

Thanks for everyone's input! This is high on my wish list!

I like this one as well. I think it's more expensive due to the Jim Shore license required for the pattern. There are about four of them in the series that I would like to stitch. I have done other Mill Hill projects with beading on them and enjoyed the results. It wasn't hard to stitch. Just do the beads last so the floss doesn't get tangled.

This is cute and I love snowmen. They make me feel cool. However, there are far too many beads for my taste - right now. I need a little break from beads. Four is a lot to do but would look really nice together. J, you stitch with both hands - go for it! Out there in the desert you need a few snowmen to see you through the summer.
