Very nice
I have started this one and the colors really join by itself. Most of it is halfstich. You have to be very carefull with the needle not to split the stiches. Not for a beginner. If I enjoy it, you will also.

Nice pattern. I agree, definitely not for someone just learning counted cross stitch; too much frustration in the "newbie" stage could cause abandonment....

I am now halfway done and it is so beautiful but really hard for the fingers cause you are using four or five threads together. So a little hint: when you use a new four or five threads to start your line and don't want to have a hard time pulling it through, use a small pair of plyers to pull your needle through the points, it's so much easier. For experienced stichers only.

This is a beautiful piece. I've thought about doing it for my husband - he loves both eagles and wolves, and I've done a big wolf piece for him but never eagles. Might have to add this to my wish list and make it his Christmas gift project one of these years!
