Size of stitches
If this quilt was described in terms of counted stitches such as Aida cloth, what would be the count. I am concerned about the stitches being too small for me. 14 count Aida is much too small. I am more able to do 8 count to the inch. Thanks for help in this matter. A suggestion on these stamped kits: translate into comparable Aida count. This would be helpful to others who are vision-limited.
Thanks.

I believe I have done that one. Ive done so many its hard to remember which ones I have done. If I remember correctly and it looks like the one Im working on now. There are about 5 or 6 stitches to the inch. I hope this helps.

The stamped cross stitch baby quilts can be done as counted cross stitch? How do you get the pattern if it is stamped onto the quilt but you are transferring it to adia as counted cross stitch? Very interesting but I would be afraid to try it because I would surely mess it up.

Thank you Ella! Your info was very helpful to give me an idea of the size of the stitches.

I don't think you could do this as a counted cross stitch since it is stamped. I was just inquiring as to the size of the stitches as I did not want to try a kit with very small stitches.

judyocasey,

Ok thanks, that makes sense. I didn't think so but just wanted to double check.

What you could do also if there is a craft store, or even Walmart, near you check out what they have in stamped blanket projects. That will give an idea of the size. They might even have that one.
