Supplies List
Kristi,

Since I'm still dreaming about this thing, could you put up the supplies list, please? I thought with all that tiny black outlining, I would get over it...guess not. Thank you!

V, I'm at a loss for words. This is over the top, as a matter of fact it's close to masochism.
If my math is correct then you will be executing exactly 98,350 stitches plus frogging!
Happy Hour?

I'll be working a stained glass pattern myself but not on this scale. I have to wait until this weekend when DD makes copies for me.

I know, I know! But you know when something gets into your head--and you can't talk yourself out of it--you might as well pull on a life preserver, climb in the canoe, and shove off! :) The drop off USUALLY isnt as deadly as I fear. :) If nothing else, I'll have a lovely new bunch of floss from which the DD will raid pretty regularly and I will have something to store, occasionally pull out, shake my head, and scream at myself, "WHAT THE....!!!??!!!" :) And when I'm gone, the kids can scream it out loud. Hahahahaha!!!

Tex, don't you have one of those? :)

I wonder if there's a poster... :)

Cheryl, not so sure it is bravery so much as an onset of a till-now-un-named-psychosis... :)

V, I haven't seen a poster but I bet you could have one made - in giclee (sp) at that!

Yes, I have one of my own - the infamous Garden of Delight. That's the one my kids will pull out and yell "was she nuts or what". I look at the floss from time to time.

Right now I am at the crossroads. What to work next? I wanted to do a table topper but don't know if I have the patience right now. DH's kidney functions worsened slightly, so I don't think that things with his heart improved. Poor guy. In any case, I also have a lovely stained glass pattern but I can't get the copies until this weekend. DD knows some shop somewhere in TX where she gets great copies made. I have a mermaid and the Opal Fairy in my stash - more beads. Maybe Simon would be up for it?

Your pattern is beautiful, no doubt, all the details. Go for it. It might stitch up quickly. Whenever I think that it will be really difficult and take a long time, I finish in no time and vice versa. That reminds me I still have to pick up the framed stuff from the shop. It won't be this weeks. I was close today but had to rush home to meet and greet the dishwasher tech. I won't even tell about that experience. I will not ever explain anything to those jerks again. When they ask what's wrong, I'll tell them that they are the "experts" and to figure it out. I might just buy a drying rack and wash by hand. Less aggravation. Then he tried to sell me a protection plan for my seven year old fridge. I could buy an organ for less. I wasn't born yesterday - literally! The fridge wasn't even the issue. I fixed the ice dispenser myself by locking and unlocking a couple of times. I should really market those skills

I returned three blouses to Nordstrom and got credit for two. I called and was told that they issued a gift card for the third???? I told her I wanted money not a gift card. Then she said that most likely I would get credit, she doesn't think that a card was issued after all. I questioned that at length. So I have to keep track of things. I want to mention that all three were returned in the same box with documentation. I don't know what's going on. Nothing is ever a smooth transaction except here. Is that why we keep ordering?

V, start with Santa. If it gets too be too much you can always leave the stained glass border off.

Nor can I. Hope I live long enough. :)

Just got home and am exhausted. Much ahead yet. Have to pick up GD, go to the dealership and get car and then it's off to PF Chang. She loves that place - especially the great wall of chocolate dessert.

So I am drifting here with no project to work. Maybe I'll crochet. I have to look in my stash but that involves moving items.

Any suggestions?

LOL

Thank you Kristi!

I'll try not to disappoint you and Tex! :)

You are much nicer than I am, Tex! What kind of "stuff" is Nordstrom's pulling? I get irate when they try that re-stocking fee! Did the manufacturer charge them to put it on the shelf originally? Did that bump the price they paid? Does an employee get a "bonus" to re-stock an item? Grrrrr

I'm cranky because I had a Dr appt to confirm that I needed the new specialist appt...What a waste of time! And money! The new specialist will get paid anyway to tell me I'm wasting their time...that I don't need him...and you know he'll have a whole new battery of blood tests. Another grrrr...

NOW it's happy hour--if I could drink--NOW is a virtual happy hour.... :) ENJOY!!

What does your virtual designated driver look like? :)
