Thw way I use breadcovers
Just wanted to add a comment to reviews. Not sure if this is where I do it or not. But--want people to know I have done 3 of the patterns & given 1 away as a gift so far & plan on doing the same with the other two and more. They have been received well & look so colorful. It can take one in the car on a trip and work when I have time at home and they get done pretty quickly. I will use them as hostess gifts when invited out. A small but personal touch. Very nice selection for a variety of interests women may have.

Terrific ideas! :) There is a "tab" located in the same place you look for the supply lists, named "Reviews". Not everybody ends up in the chat room, but your ideas and review of the product would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure! :)

Bread cloths are fun to stitch. I no longer entertain but look at mine every so often. I still have quite a few in my stash to work. Great idea about gifting. I always placed a large cotton napkin on top to keep the cloth from getting stained. Grease stains are so difficult to remove.

You're right grease stains are hard to get out. I use a cloth napkin with corresponding colors under the bread cover just like the book shows on the cover. When using bread cover in a basket I put a sheet of wax paper between it and the muffins, rolls, cookies or whatever I,m serving. Thanks for replying. I give these to women I know entertain &I bake.

Great idea about the wax paper. Yeah, I'm too tired to entertain. Most people can't appreciate the effort that goes into it. I rarely receive an invitation in return, instead they want to meet at restaurants. That's okay too from time to time but these days they ask if you left room for dessert before you take your second bite. They also drop the check off while still dining. Even nice restaurants have lousy servers. So diners have rarely the opportunity for conversation. But I digress. I remember stitching one for tea once. It was so cute. The motif consisted of a teapot and cups. I don't usually like cutsey stuff but sometimes I make an exception. :)
