Pink Feet Birth Announcement
I love this pattern but would like to make the finished product bigger. I've been stitching for a while but always just use what I'm given. Have not played around with making patterns larger or smaller. What do I use to make the pattern more of an 8 x 10?

It's already stitched on 14 ct, so there isn't much you can do with using a large count fabric. Perhaps you could put a second border around it? Have you considered stitching a different motif, one that is closer to the dimensions you desire?

Thanks for the information. That is what I thought and I have been looking at other patterns that are larger.

Anybody ever notice the date shown on the pattern? :)

I did this pattern and made a mistake on the first foot, but didn't discover it until I was quite a bit further along. I didn't want to tear out all I had done up to that point,so I adjusted the length of the remaining rows and ended up leaving out one row op stitches in that foot. II did have to adjust the border also, but even with that it looked good. I only could see where I"d fudged if I looked for the mistake. I also used an alphabet from another pattern. To answer your question about making it look larger, I used an 8x10" frame and mat instead of the plastic frame that came
with it. It all came together very well and the new mom was thrilled with it. This worked well and you may even come up with another solution.
Best wishes and happy stitching!
