No! The anchor is listed in case you do not like DMC. There is not a need to have both. This is a beautiful piece!

I have a number of The Silver Lining patterns and he does use both Anchor and DMC in the same pattern so my guess is yes, you need to order both. Most other designers tend to give you an option of one supplier of floss or the other but The Silver Lining uses both together.

It does say "needed" on both, so I would say yes to both.

You do need both! I am hanging my head in shame.

By the way, despite ECS believing it is a lily, my husband, with a degree in horticulture, takes no sides in the floss debate, but wants all to know that this is a famous IRIS , hybridized, but an IRIS nontheless.

I am not sure why the Anchor flosses weren't listed in the supply list in the first place, since we carry those?! I am not sure who did this one as far as supplies goes but I have corrected it and now the Anchor flosses show in the supply list. Both are needed for this design. Sorry for the confusion and I hope this clears things up :) Thanks!

Just my opinion. You do not have to order any that you might already have in your personal stash.
