So I'm getting ready to start a new project that requires a custom aida clothe size. The pattern itself is 500 x 375 on 14 ct Aida. The stitched area will measure to 35.7" x 26.8". When using the fabrics size calculator to help determine what would be a good starting point (VERY USEFUL!), I'm given a fabric size of 40' x 31" to give an extra 2" off the sides. Now here's my issue... I don't know which option to choose. 1 yard @ 43" or 43" x 54".
