I am not sure what kind of thread this manufacturer uses?! You will need to contact them to see what they thread they use and if it's not DMC perhaps they can give you a conversion chart to use so you can use DMC Floss. This kit is made by Tobin which is owned by Design Works and here is their contact information:

do you have in mind the name of the pattern? on the other hand you can find out by logging on the upper left side where it said (( products)) and there will click on it and find your thread that you have in the pattern that you have. But them from the site and they will be in your mailbox in a few days.

It's a kit. You'll need to contact D W Crafts as Kristi said. I purchased a different kit from this manufacturer and they included their own brand of thread in it. The design worked up fairly quickly and I received compliments on my work.
