cross vs 1/4 stitches
this pattern appears to be all cross & back stitches.. is this correct? don't like to fool w/ 1/4 stitches..
thanks

It is my observation that IMAGINATING patterns have a lot of 1/2 stitches and backstitching. I am not a fan of this company's patterns

I just got one of their patterns. Love the pattern, but alot of 1/4 stitches and back Stitching. Never will order another one.

thanks for quick replies.. think I will pass this one; hate 1/4 stitches..
just bought (and will not complete) small birth sampler because of 1/4 stitches..
happy stitching,

If you use the recommended 28 count Irish Linen fabric, 1/4 stitches should be easy. I remember Bermuda saying she uses 28 count fabric because it's a lot easier to do 1/4 stitches on 28 count than on14 count aida. I'm planning to stitch a fishing Santa on 28 count fabric in the near future for practice.
As far as backstitching goes, I like to do it because it makes the different colors used "stand out".
