Does this kit really include fabric to stitch on or is it plastic?

Hello,

In the product description, which is to the right of the picture of the product, it states what all is included in the kit:

Contains: 100% cotton 14-count White Aida 15"x18", White Felt 12"x8", 1 card of 100% cotton 6-strand floss, needle, graph & multi-lingual instructions.

Hope this helps! Thanks :)

If it is fabric, how do you cut it into those shapes without the fabric fraying away?

Hello,

The kit will include the instructions on how to construct the ornaments as shown and the kit will include all of the materials you need to make them. Thanks!

I have done several Janlynn ornament kits and it is fabric. You can either cut the piece of fabric into 6 even pieces or keep it together, whatever is easier for you. To finish these, you will mix 1 part white glue and 3 parts water together and then "glue" the back side of the ornament, wait for it to dry, then glue the front. When the ornament is completely dry, you will cut out the ornament (will need sharp scissors) 1 row outside the finished stitches. I sometimes have to use an X-acto knife to get the inside corners. Then I trace the outline of the ornament on the backing felt and cut that out. All you need to do then is make or get what you want to hang the ornament with and glue the hanger to the ornament back then the cut felt. When dry, trim felt. I am not overly crafty, and I found that finishing is pretty easy, just needs some patience. The attached picture is one I have done from different kit.

I hope this helps! Happy Stitching!
