How to Use Needlework Frame for Oversized Project
I'm getting ready to start an oversized heirloom project (finished on 14 count = 28.5" x 28.25") but don't know how to work with that width of material in a frame. Does this frame have extensions to hold that large a project or do you have other suggestions for managing all that cloth!

You will need to purchase extra dowels to fit the size of your project, in this case 34" or 36" with your framing allowance added. You will have to check with customer service to see if extra scroll rods are available for this frame.

You may have to use this frame on a table top with that size project, it may be too large for working on your lap. Generally frames that size are held on a floor stand as they get very heavy.

You can use a hoop or a Q-Snap instead of a scroll frame if you don't mind having to move it around a lot.

Hope this helps.
