I am stitching this gorgeous project and I find it quite challenging. One wouldn't think that, when a project is full cross stitch only, it would be all that difficult; but it is. The number of single stitches is the challenge. And putting them in the correct place is even more challenging.
Thank you for the opportunity to push my limits. I'm really enjoying this project.

Oh my that is beautiful. Good luck with it. I may have to check into it myself. Thanks for sharing it this is the first one I like that doesn't have a cat in it. You stretched my boundaries. ☺

That is going to be beautiful when you have finished stitching it.

That is so beautiful and it's wonderful you are enjoying the challenge. I would love to see a photo when you finish the project, in progress pics are always nice too.

Gorgeous pattern. When you do those single stitchers that we call "confetti" stitches, smile and think of my DH, who calls them "shotgun" stitches. He knows absolutely nothing about cross stitching, nor any other types of handstitching, but when he hears me saying a string of bad words, he sticks his head in the room, just to ask if I will survive my current project!

Enjoy the process! I used to just enjoy a finish, but even removing stitches can make me feel accomplished! My first confetti stitches were all alone, but not in a cover-all pattern, just kinda hangin' out on the fabric, like little sparks around the ribbon on the broom. When I got them done, I was so pleased. Hearing my oldest daughter's thrill at getting a design she had liked was the best part.

x-stitcher1, I know what you mean about finding single stitches a challenge. I wasn't expecting to find so many single stitches on the U. S. Army Seal. I'm about three quarters finished now. I hope to finish it this year.

Su Pitt, who is the designer of the "stick shift" cross stitch project you recently had frame? I may need to do it also. I also have driven stick shift vehicles for years. I didn't have a choice because that was the only type of transmission my family drove. Now that I'm older, I will only drive an automatic transmission.

Ohhh, this is so beautiful!! Do you have a specific place to hang it when it is completed? Or is this to be a gift for someone? Would love to see your WIP..... :)

Diana, the picture Su Pitt has on her reply is called Drive a Stick by Sue Hillis.

I'm with the others on wanting to see when finished. I think ECS should have a place where finished projects can be posted. It's good for sales......I've put several patterns in my cart after seeing someones finished work.

That’s a good idea hogan. Maybe Troy will see this and put it in the ‘consideration’ box. I agree regarding looking at other stitchers’ completed works when it comes to purchasing. I have purchased some charts from seeing the ‘finished’ project another stitcher has completed.
Some would say, “What’s the difference between visually seeing a picture of the chart versus seeing a completed
STITCHED project of the very same pattern?” I think there is a difference, because other stitchers mentally see a pattern that was completed and recognise, “If he/she can do it, so can I.” and/or think, ‘Yes, this completely stitched pattern came out Very True to its picture.”

You’re supposed to put the stitches in the correct space???? I’ve been operating under the “close enough” theory of stitching, especially when I had one stitch of a different color in a sea of black!
That really is going to be beautiful.
