Looking at the picture I wonder if you will use the metallic gold thread and some black. Hopefully someone will have stitched this and can help you or Kristie will be able to look at the pattern and advise. It is cute though.

Description states that the kit contains metallic thread...it has to be for the titles and the owl, doesn't it?
Have you looked at the titles? What a hoot! :) So cute! :)

Some use gold thread, others metallic thread. This is not a great pattern with colours on the pattern not matching to what is in the sample photo. I would also adapt the pattern to put your own half stitches in as the finished product looks messy once back stitching has been completed

I love the book titles. Great puns, but I think the title, " A Tale of Two Kitties" won my heart! A tired English and Psych student, I can think of a few professors who would like this!

The color used is Gold color -- 2 strands. No metallic gold used.

Then what is the metallic thread--in the kit description--used for? Think there might be more than one manufacturer of these kits?

The metallic thread is used with two different gold shades as part of the books makeup, it is also used as backstitching on a few of the books

THANK YOU! Thought I had a stroke and forgot what a "list of contents" was! 😄
