Pot Bellied Dragon
Is this done on black aida or is background stitched with black floss?

Went to the white Willow Stitching website and they list the black as completely stitched on the Aida fabric. If I were doing it I would get black Aida fabric and just stitch the dragon, and not waste all that time stitching a black background on a light colored fabric. That is what I would do.

DARLING PATTERN. I agree with the others about using dark fabric instead of stitching the entire background. However, I would be more inclined to stich on a contrasting color fabric. There are some fun colors that would provide a great contrast and avoid the eye strain of stitching on black. Also, stitching large areas of the makes life BORING!

HAVE A STITCHING DAY
