Size
I have a pattern that says the image size is 281x 371. It does not tell me stitches per inch or anything else.... any one have any recommendations to size and type of cloth I should proceed with?

Hello,

I believe the stitch count is 281 x 371?! Just take the stitch count numbers and divide them by the number of the count of the fabric you are wanting to stitch the design on and you will get your finished stitch dimensions. You then add however many inches you want for the border to the dimensions you get and those numbers will be your fabric size. For example if you wanted to stitch the design on 14ct. fabric:

281 divided by 14 = 20
371 divided by 14 = 26.5

So your project dimensions would be 20" x 26.5". Then you would add however many inches to those number that you want around the piece and you will get your fabric dimensions. Hope this helps?!

Thank you so much!! I usually do the actual kits, so I haven't had much experience choosing the sizes! Thank you for the quick help! This is extremely helpful and now I know for the future!
