Count size
I want to do this over 1 on 14 count. Wondering if pattern would be confusing to do it that way.

It shouldn't be confusing. 14 count over 1 would be the same size as 28 count over 2. Cute pattern!!!

Hi there

I can tell that U are new to this hobby. If you need any information about cross stitching you have the library and youtube.com to explain to you anything from A to Z. To me I can write a book about cross stitching as much information that I know. Have fun

Is this your first project? If so, you should start with a smaller pattern. If you already have stitched other projects using 14 count over one fabric should not be an issue. The only challenge I can think of is that there might be a lot of 1/4 and 1/2 stitches. THIS IS MY OPINION. The only book I can write would be what not to do when cross stitching.

Have a stitching day.

Patterns are read the same, whether you're stitching over one or five. 😊 There's only 12 colors in this! Great project for a newbie, or not! Enjoy! Its very cute!

LOL! Nancye I was going to say the same thing. Chapters titled like. “Why the frog hates me” or “Classic ingredients that ended up on my pattern” or “A Stitch in Time doesn’t ALWAYS save Nine.” :)

Bermuda -- Maybe we can co-author something!

contactwillis -- Bermuda and I are being silly. You had a legitimate question. I have never stitched over two. In case you are wondering about Bermuda's reference to the frog. It pertains to what happens when you have to remove mistakes in stitching. what does a frog say? Ribbit, Ribbit!
