Frame
Beautiful project! I am going to purchase the chart and what supplies I dont yet have. I love the frame it is in. Is that available to purchase anywhere on this site?

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not have the frame that is used for the cover picture of this design. You might want to try contacting Country Cottage Needleworks to see if they have this frame available or could tell you where they purchased this frame from?!

Renee1610-
As Kristi states, contacting cottage Needleworks would be a good .idea.
I found another source also. The frame you seek is by Family Tree Frame Company. If you go to ‘
The “Stoney Creek’ website, then put this
SKU #: joy8x10F1 in their ‘search’ box, it should come up. The color of this frame is called ‘Fleamart Icing’ and though the sample has the frame showing horizontal, rather than vertical, it looks like the same frame. The price shows: $58.00 for an 8 x10 inch frame (Ouch!) :)

Yikes is right for the price on that frame. Before I would spend that, & still have to frame it myself, I would buy a plain, flat wooden frame, & some snowflaky looking wood cutouts (hobby store possibly). I would glue the snowflakes to the corners, & paint the whole thing with some of that 'Crackle' paint. It comes in a spray can. You could have the whole thing in under $20, plus it's something that you did, in addition to the stitching, which makes it even better.

Well as beautiful as that frame looks, that is a bit pricey for me. Lol. Thanks everyone for the help. I think I am still going to order the pattern and supplies but figure out a different frame when its finished. Now to figure out a fabric as I don't think I have sitched on that kind before. Is it hard to work with? Maybe worth trying?

Says it is a 32-count linen. I’ve done linen in small projects. I will defer to the ladies and gents on this chat with more experience than I have, to give you some good, sound experienced advice. Do really like the pattern, so this may be #89 on my wish list.

I think I have done a couple of things on linen but it was so long ago.

I tend to like to skip around a lot when working on a project. With the aida cloth I feel like I dont have to think as much because the boxes are all there. Makes it easy for me to do different sections of a pattern at once. I feel like if I remember right it is not easy to be all over the place with linen.
