Grannythegreat,
I tried to organize my DIMENSIONS leftovers just in case I needed more for another Dimensions project but fell short. I was not innovative, I just keep the leftover floss on the cardboard holder it came on and keep all cardboard holders in a plastic zip bag near my DMC floss.

I wind all of my leftover floss onto bobbins that I label with the number. Then I have storage sheets with little pockets for each bobbin that I put into a binder. Since I have done a lot of Dimension kits (before I discovered all of the wonderful patterns on this site) I have one binder for that leftover floss. Also another binder for my DMC floss. AND a third (but smaller) binder for "all other" floss. BTW I have gotten the sheets through JoAnn Fabrics Westex Floss Keepers. I know many people use bobbins and keep them in plastic storage boxes for that purpose, but when I started I found the above floss keepers and they come with bobbins. Also, I have so many many storage containers for the zillion and one beads I have when I was making jewelry, I didn't want to start more containers, so I use the binders for now. Might eventually switch up - especially for my DMC floss since I am moving away from kits. But for now this works for me. It is organized with different pages for blocks of numbers - or for the Dimensions, I have the pages by color groups and then numerical for the bobbins.
