That is adorable, I am getting another granddaughter in early October. I might get this too. When is your granddaughter due?

Your kit will have everything you need to stitch the design. You will need to purchase a frame and some sort of backer board and a mat if you want it. Enjoy! I recently welcomed my 3rd granddaughter and stitched "Bug in a Rug" for her.

Hi hope you are doing well with your cross stitch. When i have finished my cross stitches i wash them in the washer and then ironed on the wrong side whilst they are wet. If you need to iron the front of your work put a tea towel over it just in case you catch the stitches or your iron gets too hot. They are then put on a board to fully dry. This takes out all the creases that are made by your embroidery hoop and any dirt on the work. I get all my frames for my work from a discount store here in Australia called the reject shop. This will save you money whilst making your work look great. Hope this helps. Ann

Thank you so much for your valuable advice, Ann. I guess I have to uncover my Ironing board.
I am a discount store shopper with coupons and I found gems occasionally.
This is also my first time participating in chatting room to get advice for my first project and I love it.
Enjoy the moments with grandchildren and cherish them. that is my plan with my first granddaughter.
Thank you so much ladies !! Teta.

HATE TO BE A PARTY POOPER. If this is your first cross-stitch; you may be slightly challenged depending on your other crafting experience. See if you can find a smaller project to experiment with first. This particular one might have some fractional stitches and outlining -- not exactly difficult but something that I find frustrating. If you have the project professionally framed you don't need to purchase the backing another stitcher recommended. Expecting a baby granddaughter will certainly give you the incentive you need to finish. If you get stuck just come back here and ask for help. There is always a chat member who will be happy to share helpful hints.

This is adorable! Congrats on the impending birth of your granddaughter. I can't wait to do birth samplers for mine someday.
