It is a kit so it is counted. It is also by Riolis which doesn't usually use DMC floss they tend to use a "wooly" thread which can be hard to work with, so you may want to consider changing that out. I have a kit of theirs and I hated the thread. I liked the effect but it was very difficult for me to work with so I ended up putting it in my UFO pile. This is just my opinion and experience. It is a very cute kit though. :)
